At Better Than Yo Momma’s, our food starts with family — especially my granny. She taught us that cooking isn’t just about feeding people, it’s about loving them, comforting them, and bringing everyone to the table. The recipes, techniques, and flavors behind every dish come from the meals we grew up on, the ones that filled the house with warmth, laughter, and unforgettable smells.

Every item on our menu is personal. Each dish is inspired by members of our family and the favorites we’ve shared at holidays, Sunday dinners, backyard cookouts, and late-night kitchen talks. These are the foods that raised us — the ones we still crave when we need comfort, celebration, or a reminder of home. Now, we’re honored to share them with you.
